The series was released in December 2025 and has been renewed for a second season, set to come out this year.</p><p><em>Made in Korea </em>is directed by <strong>Woo Min Ho</strong>, who also directed the biographical period drama film <em><strong>Harbin</strong></em>, for which Hyun Bin was also nominated Best Actor (Film) at the Baeksang Arts Awards last year. He then talked about working with the director again, saying, &quot;When we first started this project, Director Woo Min-ho said something to me. He said that since we couldn’t fully enjoy ourselves during <em>Harbin</em>, he wanted us to have fun filming<em> Made in Korea</em> and enjoy the things we couldn&#x27;t back then. Thinking back on the time I spent as the character Baek Gi-tae... even though the set was incredibly intense every single day, I think I was truly happy and enjoyed myself within that intensity.&quot; <em></em></p><p>Winning Best Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards was the perfect opportunity to look back on a project he had fun working on and express his gratitude to his co-stars and the production team, taking the time to thank each one of them. He said, &quot;Every time I met our wonderful fellow actors on set and shared a scene with their unique characters—each adding their own charm—there were so many thrilling moments and a lot of fun. Whenever we hit a wall, we would put our heads together to solve it. I believe every one of those moments was precious, and it was a time when I learned so much. I want to say a sincere &#x27;great job&#x27; and &#x27;thank you&#x27; to all the actors of <em>Made in Korea </em>who were with me.
