Among the stars lighting up the red carpet, two prominent C-drama actors, Tian Xiwei and Song Weilong, stole the spotlight, walking away with the coveted People’s Choice Awards.  The ceremony, held at the iconic Busan Cinema Center’s Outer Theater, brought together the biggest names in Asian streaming content to recognize the creative powerhouses defining the digital age.  In addition to the technical and creative categories, an award was presented to recognize the actors&#x27; incredible global fan bases. The &quot;People’s Choice&quot; award was determined by intense public voting, and Tian Xiwei and Song Weilong emerged victorious in the female and male categories, respectively.Tian Xiwei was also nominated for the Best Lead Actress award for the historical romance series Pursuit of Jade, while Song Weilong received a Best Lead Actor nomination for the romance drama Shine on Me.As described by the Global OTT Awards, &quot;In Shine on Me, Song Weilong played brilliant surgeon Lin Yushen, whose life turned upside down by a tragic accident, forcing him to start over as an ordinary office worker. With a nuanced and restrained performance, he captured the emotional complexity of a man whose life changes in an instant, showcasing a broader range as an actor. He also won audiences over with his portrayal of love, proving once again his strength in the romance genre.&quot;On the other hand, Pursuit of Jade, the award-giving body shared, had Tian Xiwei playing the role of Fan Changyu, &quot;a butcher&#x27;s daughter whose fake marriage gradually turns into destiny. Walking a tightrope between deception and sincerity, she delivered a high-density psychological performance. Not understanding Korean well, they didn&#x27;t realize that they were announced as the winners until someone told them. First to deliver his acceptance speech was Song Weilong, who greeted the crowd and introduced himself first before pulling a small piece of paper from his pocket. He started his speech in Korean, telling everyone that he&#x27;s glad and truly happy to be at the event. Switching to Mandarin, he said, &quot;Everyone, I hope you like this project. I hope you enjoy it and that it brings you a lot of happiness. I also wish you the best.&quot;Tian Xiwei then took the moment to deliver a short speech, beginning with a greeting to everyone in English. &quot;Hello everyone, my name is Tian Xiwei. I come from China, and I&#x27;m an actress.
