I didn&#x27;t even know that I could feel this much love in my heart,” she shared in her exclusive interview with <strong>Metro.Style</strong>. And so I think it&#x27;s nothing but helpful in terms of being an artist. Before becoming a mother, Lovi admitted that her life revolved almost entirely around work, and she rarely turned down projects. </p><p>Today, she has learned that being present matters more than striving for a perfect balance. “It&#x27;s hard to chase balance. But then, being present is the most important thing. So when I&#x27;m at work, I&#x27;m present. When I&#x27;m with my daughter, I&#x27;m present. During her pregnancy, she worried that motherhood might mean putting her dreams as an artist on hold. Thankfully, she found unwavering support in her husband, <strong>Montgomery &quot;Monty&quot; Blencowe</strong>, who encouraged her to continue pursuing the career she loves. She told Metro.Style, “I remember before, when I was pregnant, I was having that conversation with my husband. And I said, ‘I&#x27;m afraid I won&#x27;t be able to do the things that I love. You know, and be a mom, be the artist that I want to be.’ But then my husband was basically saying, ‘You know, I won&#x27;t allow you to be that person because I know how much you love your craft. So, we&#x27;ll work on it.’”</p><p>Now, just nine months postpartum, Lovi has already completed three projects, proving that motherhood has only strengthened her passion for storytelling. “Like on my fourth month, I shot a film. Last month, I shot a TV series. And then I&#x27;m about to finish a film this time,” she revealed. While these projects have yet to be officially announced, they mark an exciting new era in Lovi&#x27;s career—one where motherhood and artistry go hand in hand, making her return to the spotlight even more meaningful than before.</p><div style="text-align:center"></div><p style="text-align:left">As she embraces this exciting new chapter in her life, Lovi adds another milestone to her journey as she officially joins the Star Magic family. “I just feel like with Star Magic, everything just aligned. She first joined ABS-CBN in 2021 with the hit thriller series <strong><em>Flower of Evil</em></strong>, followed by her memorable role as Mokang in <strong><em>FPJ&#x27;s Batang Quiapo</em></strong> alongside this generation&#x27;s King of Action, <strong>Coco Martin</strong>. Having enjoyed the experience, Lovi shared that Coco is one of the actors she hopes to work with again in a future project. “<em>Isa sa pinaka-kinasasaya ko at kinatutuwa ko </em>is, wherever I go, <em>tinatawag pa rin nila akong</em> Mokang,” she shared during her welcome press conference with Star Magic.</p><p style="text-align:left">Since then, Lovi has built lasting relationships with the people she has worked with in the network. “Everyone that I&#x27;ve worked with has become really good friends of mine. And I have this deep connection with my co-stars and my directors and all people that I&#x27;ve worked with, whether it&#x27;s behind the camera or on screen,” she shared. While she&#x27;s best known for her dramatic performances, she hopes to explore more action, thriller, and even comedy projects.</p><p style="text-align:left">When it comes to choosing a role, Lovi says saying yes goes beyond the character itself. For her, a compelling script, a visionary director, and colleagues who inspire one another make all the difference. “I think, first of all, a great script is very important, a good creative team behind it, the director. Because, of course, there&#x27;s also a beautiful script, and there&#x27;s also a director with a great vision… And I think co-actors who you think you learn from, and you can give your best, and see you ride along with these people. You know, like the people you work with, you get the same energy. As a producer, she hopes to bring more Filipino stories to the global stage. </p><p style="text-align:left">“I think things I would like to explore are to have deeply rooted Filipino stories that could speak to a more global audience. Our culture, even mythology and family dynamics, is so rich,” she shared. It&#x27;s tough, to be honest. Even if it feels uncomfortable and painful, it&#x27;s important that we go for things that scare us,” she reflected.</p><p style="text-align:left">It is this mindset that continues to shape Lovi as she embraces every new role, every creative risk, and every fresh beginning.
