<p>There&#x27;s a so-called myth known as the &quot;<strong>Siargao</strong> curse,&quot; with two versions: first, it makes you fall in love with the island and never want to leave; second, it pulls lovers apart. </p><p>Clearly, for <em><strong>Love, Siargao </strong></em>cast members <strong>Alden Richard</strong><strong>s</strong>, <strong>Kyline Alcantara</strong>, <strong>Kim Ji Soo</strong>, and <strong>Nadine Lustre</strong>, it&#x27;s the first case. And, rather than pulling lovers apart, it pulled this whole cast closer together, so much so that the genuine connections they established have gone beyond their set. The story follows <strong>Jao</strong> (Alden Richards) and <strong>Kara</strong> (Nadine Lustre), two strangers bitten by different versions of this curse, who later find themselves navigating the highs and lows of a modern romance. It explores love, self-discovery, and second chances in a place where time seems to slow down, and emotions run deeper. Besides the timeless, universally appealing plot, the series also highlights Siargao as a premier tourist destination, a go-to for breathtaking beaches and a vibrant food scene. </p><p>For about a month, Siargao felt like home for the cast, and even after going their separate ways, they feel like they have made lifelong friends in each other. &quot;Other than shooting, <em>nagbo</em>-bonding <em>din kami &#x27;pag mga </em>break, <em>&#x27;pag mga</em> off days <em>namin</em>. The others agreed that it was truly unforgettable, especially since it was one of the rare times they were together in a scene. </p><p>Kyline added, &quot;<em>Kasi &#x27;yun &#x27;yung</em> time <em>na naging </em>close <em>na tayo</em>. <em>Tapos lumabas sa eksena kung paano tayo mag-asaran</em>.&quot;</p><p>But Alden shared another anecdote: &quot;<em>Iba &#x27;yung akin e</em>. <em>Medyo </em>sad. <em>Noong may</em> scene <em>kasi, </em><em>na hindi ko na lang sasabihin kung sino &#x27;to </em><em>dahil hindi pa &#x27;to umeere </em>b<em></em>ecause this is towards the end, there&#x27;s this character <em>na</em>,<em></em> we were all at the airport. &quot;And then <em>sakto na</em> right after the scene, <em>sumakay siya ng eroplano</em>. And <em>parang</em> that basically—<em>parang unti-unti na kaming nababawasan</em>. The vibes are kind of different from my country. Here, it is more, like, very friendly. And they are always smiling, and you know, they joke a lot, so it&#x27;s like I feel like very comfortable. Even if I don&#x27;t understand what they&#x27;re saying, I can laugh; they always make me laugh in here, especially Alden... It always feels chill, and it&#x27;s very easy to work.
