"G-Mik" Sweethearts Heart Evangelista and John Prats Reunite in a Fun Collab

<p>&quot;Major fan service&quot; for all the &quot;<em>batang</em> 90s&quot; indeed! Fans of <em><strong>G-Mik! </strong></em>(myself included!) <em><strong></strong></em>felt nostalgic as <strong>Heart Evangelista</strong> and<strong> John Prats </strong>shared a collab content on social media, giving everyone the much-awaited reunion of one of the most famous on-screen couples in Philippine showbiz, <strong>Missy</strong> and <strong>Yuan</strong> from the iconic 1999 teen drama series. </p><p>Now, this isn&#x27;t the first time we&#x27;ve seen Heart and John reunite this year. In March, they posted photos of themselves together on what seemed like a catch-up lunch at Hill House restaurant in Antipolo, Rizal. The post was flooded with comments about how nostalgic it was seeing them together in one frame, about 27 years after they made all the <em>batang </em>90s experience teen love—the first-love <em>kilig </em>and heartbreak—in <em>G-Mik! </em></p><p>Heart and John have since pursued different career paths. Heart went on to become a global fashion muse and style influencer, often spotted in major Fashion Week events in New York, Paris, and Milan. John, on the other hand, established himself as a director, taking the helm at live events and concerts featuring some of the entertainment scene&#x27;s biggest stars locally and internationally. One stayed in the spotlight, while the other one works behind-the-scenes, directing where to point the spotlight. Heart&#x27;s caption read: &quot;BFF.&quot; By this time, fans of Missy and Yuan were wishing all the more for a reunion project, one that may even include the other stars of <em>G-Mik! </em>like <strong>Camille Prats</strong>, <strong>Angelica Panganiban</strong>, <strong>Carlo Aquino</strong>, and <strong>Stefano Mori</strong>. They played the older versions of a teen couple, portrayed by <strong>Caprice Cayetano</strong> and <strong>Jairo Nolasco</strong>. In the MV, the two teens had to go their separate ways, but before then, she gave him a friendship bracelet so he could always remember her. 23 years later, they saw each other again on a bus; as he was walking past her, she saw the friendship bracelet hanging on his bag.
