This Stunning Actress Is Anne Hathaway's Counterpart in 'The Intern' Korean Remake

In case you missed it, the American comedy-drama film The Intern is getting a Korean remake! The 2015 film, starring Robert de Niro and Anne Hathaway, was directed, written, and co-produced by Nancy Meyers. 11 years later, its Korean adaptation will be released on September 16, 2026, more than a year since its casting was confirmed in August 2025. The Korean actress chosen for the lead role is Han So Hee, famous for K-dramas like The World of the Married, Nevertheless, My Name, Soundtrack #1, and Gyeongseong Creature. Her workplace flow is disrupted by a widower and retired executive (Choi Min Sik as Gi-ho), who re-enters the corporate world and applies as an intern at Woo22. Despite not being familiar with the new ways a company operates, Gi-ho&#x27;s natural flair at work eventually influences Seon-wu and makes an impact at Woo22. The Intern&#x27;s Korean adaptation, directed by Kim Do-young, marks a special moment in Han So Hee&#x27;s career as the project comes on her tenth year in the modeling and entertainment industry.
