Fernandez topped the 1,000-meter event with a time of 1:44.307, earning the Philippines&rsquo; first-ever gold medal in the competition.</p><p>She followed her historic victory with another gold in the 777-meter event, clocking 1:19.989 to complete a remarkable two-gold campaign and emerge as the Philippines&rsquo; most successful athlete at the competition.</p><div><br></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width: 960px; display: block;" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17883903904172. His podium finish marked the Philippines&rsquo; first medal of the competition and set the stage for the historic results that followed.</p><p>Three athletes. Four medals. One historic milestone for Philippine skating.
