In an interview with <strong>Metro.Style</strong>, designer Alan Del Rosario described his creation, saying, &quot;It&#x27;s a 3-tiered drop-waist ball gown that turns into a mermaid gown by removing the top layer of the dress.&quot; </p><p>Not only beautiful, but the design is also practical, making the outfit change for the reception easy and seamless. The off-shoulder design transformed into a strapless style in no time! Aside from the silhouette, the gown&#x27;s shade and textures are also remarkable. The designer detailed, &quot;The eggshell-colored dress bodice is pleated meticulously in silk chiffon on top of a duchess satin. For the skirt flounce and ruffles, I used a fabric from Spain. It is this uniquely embossed, embroidered lace with rose and carnation patterns. It was then wrapped and draped with silk chiffon to give it a modest look, perfect for the church ceremony.</p><p style="text-align:left">Our favorite thing about this creation was that the petticoat beneath, which is made of this light but stiff acetate/acrylic fabric, had a copy of Matt’s love letter to Jamie. Made from <em>piña </em>fabric from a local weaver, the gown was meticulously crafted while ensuring the material&#x27;s organic features were retained to show what the designer described as &quot;beautiful imperfections.&quot;<em></em></p><p>&quot;This is the first time I used this fabric,&quot; Alan revealed. &quot;It’s so delicate and a bit temperamental. I used duchess satin as the base fabric inside.
