It's apparently a routine for achieving undeniable, overflowing hotness!
Seventeen’s Kim Mingyu sparked an internet frenzy after releasing his latest collaboration with global fashion brand, Calvin Klein. His photos broke the Internet and drew in a whirlwind of compliments from fans and fitness enthusiasts like us, as the campaign showcased his well-defined figure and beautiful brown skin—making everyone leave a heart emoji for everyone who came across them!
In his recent update, Mingyu confidently flaunted his chiseled body, posing like a Greek god, showing off an excellent elite posture—immensely captivating us with his talent in modeling. Calvin Klein also shared a video of the artist, highlighting their iconic products, such as the 90’s trucker jacket, monogram logo graphic classic crew neck t-shirt, and straight fit jeans, perfectly dressing up Mingyu’s 6'2 body.
All eyes are on Mingyu’s fitness regimen now—we’re so curious about how he got so ripped and achieved a well-proportioned body. Was it his diet? His workout? Question no more, as we delve deeper into his overall routine to uncover the secrets behind his herculean glow!
Unflavored Chicken Diet
Achieving a sexy built must not have been an easy journey. The journey to a great physique requires hard work, and Mingyu having effortlessly succumbed to this diet is quite impressive. Would you believe if Mingyu jokingly said he doesn’t know how to diet? Insane, right? He’s actually a heavy eater, but if you’ve caught one of his live streams on Weverse, you’d know he frequently shares his healthy meals. During the times he’s on a strict diet, he eats unflavored chicken breasts, which helps his chest gain more definition. But most of the time, Mingyu just loves eating! That’s the key to his well-balanced body and lifestyle.
Going to the Gym Frequently
Mingyu’s most recent workout is a five-day split routine, targeting his chest, back, shoulders, arms, and legs on different days to avoid overworking his body. With a five-day workout schedule, he uses the remaining two days for rest. He mentioned that having two days off aligns perfectly with his week. Mingyu engages in heavy lifting, which helps keep his biceps finely carved and waist in shape, making his overall proportion complimentary over his youthful appearance. You might also want to include rest and breaks into your routine, to avoid feeling overwhelmed and allow your muscles to grow in the process.
Golden Retriever Personality
Of course, Mingyu wouldn't have made it this far without his warm, passionate personality. He is dedicated to everything he does, whether it’s his music career, dancing skills, or workout routine. He always puts tremendous effort into everything! On Gym Jong Kook’s YouTube channel, you can see Mingyu having fun while working out, showing how it fuels his motivation for achieving the physique he wants. For us, generally, working out shouldn’t feel like punishment but rather an encouragement to keep us focused on our goals!
An Active Lifestyle
It’s one of the efforts that makes Mingyu’s physique one of a kind. Imagine attending a CK Paris event, traveling hours back to your country afterward, and then going straight to your group’s dance practice. It surely defines his commitment to his career—pretty amazing for keeping up the energy all day! By staying active through dancing, walking, and running, Mingyu burns a lot of calories, so even though he frequently eats a lot, moving regularly and staying active becomes his ally in keeping his chiseled body well-toned at all times. So, better make moving regularly your habit—remember, nowadays, sitting all day is equal to smoking!
We can see how Mingyu pours a lot of effort into his lifestyle, but he never forgets how to keep everything in balance, proving his diligence in maintaining his impressive physique. Today, he continues to gain global relevance, and with his overflowing visuals? We can't wait to see what he will offer us in the future, whether it’s in fashion, beauty, or fitness.
