See All The Designers Behind Our Favorite National Costumes In Miss Universe PH 2024

Take a look at the 53 national costumes that wowed on the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 stage.

The National Costume competition is one of the most iconic segments in Miss Universe. This year, the candidates of Miss Universe Philippines showcased the best of Filipino craftsmanship through their chosen ensembles for the competition. Inspired by the country's flora and fauna, each look embodied the Philippines' rich biodiversity.

This year's top three were Janet Hammond of Southern California, Alexie Brooks of Iloilo, and Tamara Ocier of Tacloban. Janet wore a Tubbataha Reef-inspired look by Ehrran Montoya, Alexie commanded the crowd with her tarantula look by Tata Blas-Pinuela, while Tamara collaborated with Charlotte Rodriguez for her Tacloban Monitor Lizard costume.

One of the designers who left a lasting impression on-stage was Axel Que who created not one but three National Costumes for the competition. Axel designed the captivating looks of Stacey Gabriel of Cainta, Christi McGarry of Taguig, and Victoria Velasquez Vincent of Bacoor.

Other standouts include Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province who donned a mesmerizing Jade Vine costume and Tarah Valencia of Baguio who wore a sunflower look with quintessential Baguio elements such as walis-tambo and the lion that guards the Kennon Road.
