There's plenty of excitement surrounding the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines competition happening this year. Over the past few weeks, Miss Universe Philippines has released the official head shots and swimsuit photos of the 55 candidates. Last weekend, the organization unveiled the much-awaited evening glam portraits of the queens.

Decked in their bespoke ensembles, the queens showed off their sartorial flair with classic evening gowns and avant-garde creations. Those who stood out oozed with charisma like Zambales representative Anita Rose Gomez in her ornate Ehrran Montoya gown and Alexie Brooks of Iloilo who radiated in her yellow Olivier Caniban Zulueta look. Christi Mcgarry of Taguig and Tarah Valencia of Baguio opted for elegant black evening gowns. Christi wore a corseted creation by Mark Bumgarner while Tarrah chose a gown designed by Glennze Mark Aquino. Stacey Gabriel of Cainta donned a stellar Job Dacon gown that reminded us of Schiaparelli's hyper futuristic look from their Haute Couture Spring 2024 collection. The gown featured 3d embellishments and mixed metals.

We have yet to see more from this year's candidates. The competition for the crown is getting tougher by the minute!
