<p><strong>Iris Apfel</strong> is one of fashion’s most instantly recognizable tastemakers. The businesswoman, interior and fashion designer, and actress lived a life full of color. A New York spectacle, Iris was often seen in her eclectic looks accompanied by her signature thick circular frames. </p><div><br/></div><p>She has graced numerous magazine covers and campaigns including an exhibit dedicated to her by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York titled “<em>Rara Avis (Rare Bird): The Irreverent Iris Apfel</em>.” At 91, she was Dazed’s oldest cover star. When she celebrated her 100th birthday, she marked the moment with a memorable collaboration with H&amp;M.
