Metro Exclusive: Janine Gutierrez Wears Inno Sotto During A Photo Call At Venice Film Festival

Janine Gutierrez raises our flag at the prestigious Venice Film Festival for the premiere of Phantosmia. 

The award-winning actress is wearing a custom two-piece Inno Sotto ensemble for the film's official photo call. The all-black look features irregular stones around the waistband which peeks through the sheer fabric of the skirt.

In an exclusive conversation with MJ Benitez, the stylist shares the story behind Janine’s debut look for the festival. “It was our first time working with Inno Sotto and to say we were both excited for this opportunity is an understatement,” says MJ. She approached Inno with a general idea of what Janine would like to wear to mark the momentous occasion. “Both Janine and I have a chic column silhouette in mind that’ll stand the test of time—and this was his take on it. I love the idea of separates because it’s equal parts refined and relaxed and we all know that Inno is the master of understated luxury,” says MJ.

To complete the look, Janine wears geometric yellow diamond drop earrings and diamond tennis bracelet by JMA Jewelry along with a pair of patent leather slingback sandals from Gianvitto Rossi.

Her all-Filipino team including stylist MJ Benitez, makeup artist Anthea Bueno, and hairstylist Jay Aquino helped bring this look to life.
