The Inspiration Behind Janine Gutierrez’s First Red Carpet Look At Venice Film Festival

Here's how this look came about!

Phantosmia actress Janine Gutierrez graced the Venice Film Festival red carpet for the first time in a Cinderella-like gown.

After dazzling the media in a custom Inno Sotto ensemble at the official photo call of Phantosmia, Janine took on the red carpet in another custom design, this time by her friend and frequent collaborator Vania Romoff.

MJ Benitez, stylist of Janine, shares to Metro the story behind this breathtaking look. “For Janine’s red carpet look, we wanted to focus on volume and silhouette,” MJ continues, “Vania drew several sketches but it was this design—a powder blue tulip skirt gown with a cinched waist and exaggerated hips—that really won us over.”

Over the course of the fittings, all three of them agreed that a deep neckline, super slim straps, and a really low back lend the look a younger, more modern appeal. The gown is finished off with a small ribbon on the back to complete that signature VR look.
