Metro In NYFW: Tommy Hilfiger Reimagines Classic Prep For Spring 2025

From archival regatta jackets, capri and chino pants, and more.

The Tommy Hilfiger shows for fashion week are always epic. This season is no different as he brings attention to another New York landmark, the MV John F. Kennedy, previously the Staten Island Ferry. The collection keeps true to Tommy’s fascination with the nautical lifestyle.

In his interview with Metro, he points to his 2010 maritime campaign as one of the first and strongest images he had in mind when he he began envisioning his spring/summer 25 collection. In true Tommy Hilfiger style, the clothes were predominantly in the iconic brand colors of red, white, and blue.

“We're revisiting the nautical and maritime inspirations that have defined our signature look since 1985,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Today, it’s updated and remixed for 2025: the look has the ease of effortless summer style, but with a confidence that feels ready to step off the ferry and back into the city.”

There’s a twist though, there is a touch of tennis in the mix, through the different silhouettes. Key looks include archival regatta jackets, women's capri pants in solids and checks, classic prep looks refreshed with varsity jackets, hand-knitted polos, and deconstructed trench coats.

Stars in attendance were Blackpink's Jisoo, Stray Kids’ Felix and Lee Know, and Thai stars  Pond, Phuwin, Fourth, and Gemini.
