Last September 25 marked the end of the 2024 Spring Summer Milan Fashion Week.
This year, we saw a lot of new takes, innovative designs, and a wide array of perspectives on what it means to produce creative modern fashion. From the debut of Sabato De Sarno as Gucci’s new Creative Director to the cool laid back tones shown by Prada and Giorgio Armani, this year’s Milan Fashion Week definitely exceeded our expectations.

Bottega Veneta
While Bottega Veneta’s collection mirrored the playful and easy energy that people feel during the spring summer holidays, they also added their very own air of mystique and mystery to each of the pieces. Their looks show just how much Bottega Veneta likes to color outside the lines.
Fendi
For Fendi’s 2024 Spring Summer collection, Kim Jones opted to derive inspiration from his trips to the Colosseum in Rome. His goal was to create clothing for women that reflect the elegance found in dressing for themselves.
Ferragamo
For this collection, Maximilian Davis wanted Ferragamo’s ensembles to exude a harmonious blend between dressing and living. Just like its concept, the pieces from this collection not only reflected ease in movement, but also showed the effortlessness every chic fashion girl wants to have.
Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani’s collection for Spring Summer 2024 is entitled 'Vibes'. The collection featured pieces with loose silhouettes, cool tones, and soft detailing, which all emanated the relaxed nature of collection’s title. Giorgio Armani was able to reflect people’s casual behavior during Spring and Summer.
Gucci
This year’s Gucci SS24 show featured the debut of their latest Creative Director, Sabato De Sarno. The collection, Ancora, showcased daily clothing essentials that were elevated with expert tailoring, mindful detailing, and a mix of various textures. This collection truly showed how De Sarno married his individual design perspective with Gucci’s long standing identity. We can’t wait to see what else he has in store for the brand!
Max Mara
“An Army Of Women” is a collection that alludes to the 1940s British Women’s Land Army. The Max Mara pieces highlighted utilitarian design details and military-inspired elements. We just love how they took these classic designs and gave them a modern twist.
Prada
For Prada’s SS24 RTW line they opted for a juxtaposition between their looks through the use of sharp tailored detailing, translucent fabrics, and rounded puffed silhouettes. Their twist on tailored jackets and bottoms, and their unique take on the classic shift dress truly reminded us all how Prada is at the forefront of fashion!
Tod's
The Tod’s collection for Milan Fashion Week was composed of pieces that defined what it means to be contemporary, clean, and natural. The looks showed off the beautiful handmade craftsmanship that Tod’s has to offer.
Tom Ford
The new creative director for Tom Ford, Peter Hawkings, launched his runway debut at this year’s SS MFW. The collection reflected everything Tom Ford is about: sleek and sophisticated silhouettes. With these pieces on the runway, we’re sure that Hawkings will continue to prove to be a great addition to the Tom Ford family!
Versace
Versace remained true to their renowned and well-established brand identity with their collection this year. The pieces featured an array of light pastel colors and showed references from the 1960s and from the 1990s of Versace. We definitely think that Versace is a brand who never fails to create fresh perspectives from nostalgic inspirations.
