Pay homage to this traditional Mexican holiday with these glam cocktails

Put a new twist on how you celebrate All Soul's Day this year by celebrating Día de Muertos with some themed cocktails. Día del Muertos is a holiday is traditionally celebrated every year on November 2 in Mexico. During this time, according to ancient beliefs, the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is lifted and families can gather to welcome back the souls of their ancestors. But instead of having a solemn tone, the holiday is more of a joyful occasion as people remember the deceased and celebrate their memory through food, drinks, and symbols unique to the holiday like, colorful skulls and décor to symbolize their welcome back to the world of the living.

Take part in this unique celebration with PATRÓN Tequila, a brand also deeply rooted in Mexican heritage, as it was founded in Mexico in 1989. PATRÓN Tequila pays homage to this festival by participating and celebrating Día de Muertos all over the world.  Filipinos can get a glimpse of this festive celebration this Oct. 31 at XYLO At The Palace. In the meantime, try your hand at these fun themed cocktails.
