As we continue to emerge from the effect of the pandemic, find better ways to dress, and address the industry’s increased calls for sustainability, we thought we’d reach out to Metro’s Most Stylish women and ask them about their New Year’s resolutions for 2023.

(1) Rewear dresses I love (2) Only spend on expensive things that are a good cost per wear (3) Buy fabric and have stuff locally made

(1) Buy less and reuse what I have in my closet. (2) I have a rule that if I haven’t used something in awhile that I have to either use it or give it away and it can’t stay in my closet (3) Create a uniform for week days when I’m in the office to remove one less thing to think about daily

For 2023, I aim to embrace my work life balance by being open to opportunities and inspirations. One of my main fashion New Year’s resolutions for 2023 is to find more fabulous and comfortable heels that can take me from day to night and can allow me to be standing the whole day. I also want to organize my toiletry bags, make-up kits, and medicine bags properly in preparation for my domestic and international travel. I also want to have Filipino-made ready-to-wear pieces to mix and match as work outfits so mornings will be easy and fast. Everything I will prepare, wear, or purchase this year will be functional and timeless.

My fashion New Year’s resolution for 2023 is to be more experimental with my looks. I feel like the pandemic made me choose more comfortable looks and now that things have normalized and there are more places to go, I can go back to trying trends and looks that are beyond my comfort zone!
