Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2024 just concluded its 3-day showcase held over the weekend. It was a star-studded event both in guest list and runway appearances. One of the celebrity models who joined the fashion show was Korean actor/singer and Metro Man cover star Kim Won Shik, who modeled for BENCH Body.

The BENCH Body served as the grand finale of the Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2024. Kim Won Shik, who had a stint on ABS-CBN's remake of the K-drama What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, wore an all-white ensemble of a tank top, sheer cover-up, and a pair of roomy, knee-length shorts—a look punctuated by a peeking black BENCH Body underwear.

Other celebrities who walked for the BENCH Body show included Max Collins, Kaila Estrada, Shaira Diaz, Kira Balinger, Teejay Marquez, Jameson Blake, Sunshine Cruz, and Ina Raymundo.

Of the experience, Kim Won Shik shared on Instagram: "It's very exciting because it's actually my first time to walk for a fashion show! So now I am not just an actor and a singer, I am also a runway model, thanks to Bench! I know that Bench is the biggest lifestyle brand in the Philippines so it's an honor to be part of the Bench family. It's amazing how Bench has a lot of Korean endorsers and now I am one of them. Bench supports local, Bench is world-class, and this is why I love Bench."

The Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2024 featured collections by R'Bonney Nola Gabriel, Kashieca by Rhett Eala, and Anthony Ramirez (August 30); Cotton On, HUMAN x Jenni Contreras, ANTONINA, and Bon Hansen (August 31); URBAN REVIVO, Chito Vijandre, and BENCH Body (September 1).

Last August 23, Kim Won Shik, a Universal Records Philippines artist and the singer behind "To Be With You," was launched as the newest member of the BENCH family.

"Known for his dazzling appearances and natural charisma, he's ready to make us swoon all over again," BENCH captioned their post.

Kim Won Shik was discovered by his current Korean agency, Inn Company, through the show I Can See Your Voice. From there, he was given a chance to audition for True Beauty, where he had a cameo appearance. But it was the 12-episode reality dating show Love Like a K-Drama, which featured four Korean actors and four Japanese actresses, that really introduced Kim Won Shik to a wider audience.

"That was the first time that I really talked a lot in a show, and I had my own role… with a lot of lines to deliver. It felt really good," he said of the reality dating show in a previous Metro.Style interview. In the Philippines, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim isn't actually his first acting stint. Before that, he appeared in Universal Records Philippines' first-ever mini series titled Pag-Ibig Na Kaya alongside Filipino artists Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose, and South Korean-German singer Jayden.

We can't wait to see what else is in store for Kim Won Shik as he continues to make a name for himself in the local showbiz and fashion scenes.
